Crazy Testing Day 10/25/22

Crazy Testing Day Activities are Fast Approaching- this website is designed to give parents and students an opportunity to plan for the events of the day.  Please use the links below to to become familiar with the activities that are scheduled for your grade level.

​9th Grade- You Science-

9th graders will take the  YouScience Profile which includes the following sections. Students do not have to complete the 87-minute profile in one sitting, but when they start an aptitude, they must finish it. Students should limit distractions while taking the profile as it takes full concentration to get the best results.

10th Grade PSAT

10th Grade students will have the opportunity to participate in the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT).  Students do not need to register.  ​The PSAT is a reflection of how well you will do on the SAT, so study, study, study!

11th Grade- National Merit Qualifying Scholarship Test (NMQST)

11th Grade students have an opportunity to chose to participate in the NMSQT.  Registration is required and the link is provided below. This test is a pre-requisite to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Progam.

11th Grade Employability Skills for Students NOT
​Participating in the NMQST

11th Grade students NOT participating in the NMQST will be able to participate in events sponsored by our CTAE department that supports learning basic employability skills and life skills.  An example of topics that students have benefited from in the past have been: basic automotive repairs, self defense, basic first aid, interview skills and dressing for success among many others.   

12 Grade- College & Workplace Tours

Visiting colleges you are interested in is the best way to determine if the school is a good fit for you. Students must schedule and submit a College Visit Permission Form or a Job Shadow Experience Form.
