About Mr. Miller

Nicholas is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia (LPC008450).  He has extensive experience working with students and parents to solve educational and behavioral difficulties that arise from time to time.  He enjoys working with individuals to identify solutions and accommodations to support individual success for student's and their families.  He believes that every person has the capability grow into the person they would like to become and thrive in their life.
 
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of West Georgia in 1998, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Guidance and Counseling in 2003, and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Guidance and Counseling in 2009. He is currently enrolled in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at Liberty University.  He has 19 years of experience as a school counselor.  He is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) and is certified as both a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Nationally Certified School Counselor (NCSC) by the National Board for Certified Counselors.

In addition to serving the students and parents of Union County High School, he also serves as one of the counselor's to the Mountain Education Charter High School.
